Irregular migration, displacement, and the need for host countries to adapt their refugee response and relief efforts poses a stark challenge to governments and NGOs across the globe.

Trust fuels legitimacy. When citizens have faith in the state, they view its actions as fair and legitimate, leading to greater cooperation and compliance with laws and policies. This public buy-in fosters stability and reduces friction in a society.
