Knowledge Audits
Most companies have heard about knowledge management,
but many do not know where to begin exploring the concept.
A knowledge audit provides an overview of the strengths
and weaknesses of a company, and offers an analysis
of potential competitive advantage. The knowledge audit
identifies the organization's propensity for knowledge
management, the existing levels of knowledge management
in practice, and the internal factors that either promote,
or prohibit the use of strategic knowledge within the
organization.
Knowledge Mapping
Knowledge mapping is a strategic management process
that identifies what knowledge is needed within an organization;
what gaps exist, and what skills are required to solve
a problem or complete a task. An effective knowledge
map provides a collective view of the knowledge and
skills essential to successfully perform each step in
delivering the solution, through a detailed development
plan.
Knowledge Transfer and Innovation Commercialization
Delta Strategies works closely with academic institutions across Europe to identify innovation emerging from academic research. Based on an initial business and market assessment, our contacts with UK venture capital providers enable us to propose and execute plans for commercialization strategies.
We also work with universities and higher education institutions in the UK to facilitate knowledge transfer from academic institutions to the small to medium-sized business community. This is achieved through public sector funding schemes, such as the Department of Trade and Industry’s “Knowledge Transfer Partnership” - program.
Facilitation Services for Knowledge, Creativity and Innovation
Organizations alone do not innovate or create anything
- people do! However, organizations can leverage creative
and innovative capability, and turn it into a profitable
asset - whether it is delivered through process improvement,
new product development or brand enhancement.
Delta
Strategies works intimately with organizations
to identify and unleash this creative potential
through workshops in: |
Meeting Facilitation• Strategic Planning • Scenario Planning
Futurizing • Change Management |
|
Our workshops are carefully planned and designed to
ensure that the client’s specific circumstances
and strategic objectives are programmed into the workshop
structure. The workshop results are documented with
realistic deliverables and timelines. Follow-up sessions
are held to monitor progress.
Meeting Facilitation
Our approach to meeting facilitation begins with the assessment of key business and behavioral objectives, followed by a careful agenda design. During the facilitation event, our approach remains flexible, inclusive, engaging, yet always results oriented. Action plans and shared agreements are developed that to deliver successful implementation.
Strategic Planning
This is an in-depth, two-stage, strategy development process. Using your own organization as a model, you will apply strategic planning foundations of market segmentation, external and internal analysis, capability assessments, key assumptions and future scenarios, and select key growth strategies for your target markets.
Using the outcomes from stage one, will allow you to set systematic strategic aims and objectives for stage two, and create powerful and concise action plans to achieve the agreed strategies. You will establish budgets, create a resource plan to achieve strategic goals and consider the need for change management programmes such as internal communications and to achieve employee buy-in.
Scenario Planning
The scenario planning process is a robust analytical and highly interactive approach that examines the driving forces, major global trends, and industry trends that impact the business, both now and in the anticipated future. As key patterns begin to emerge, these forces and trends are prioritized and their impact on the existing business strategy will be considered. With this information, the leadership team begins to use their collective wisdom, judgment, and strategic thinking to create possible future scenarios in a focused way, and plan how the organization might respond to these scenarios when certain conditions arise.
Futurizing
Developing a future vision is a process that builds shared understanding and commitment through the exploration of three domains: our past, our present, our future. Through guided dialogue, mapping tools, visualization, imagery, scenario building, and personal reflection we discover the common ground and themes that form the foundation of a future that we can all buy into. Strategies, initiatives and action plans will be developed to make future a reality.
Change Leadership
This is a results-focused session to explore how people can actively drive change on critical business initiatives. Change leadership session kicks off with interactive group exercises exploring the dynamics of human and organizational change. Participants learn the key differences between management and leadership, and explore why everyone must be a change leader or agent.
The session combines group exploration of key change issues with break-out groups on specific change initiatives, Each break-out team is facilitated and monitored by our consultants to help groups develop specific goals and preliminary action plans to lead change.
The length of above programmes varies depending on client needs and may require both pre- and post-session follow-up meetings.
Attendance is restricted to the maximum of 20 participants per session.

Business Writing and Communications
Corporate Literature
Annual reports, corporate brochures, newsletters, leaflets, web-pages, and presentations are key marketing and sales tools. They need to be written in a captivating, no-nonsense style that differentiates your product or service from your competitors, and conform to your overall corporate style and brand image.
Brochures
We produce brochures in a range of paper format and styles. A combination of good writing and interesting graphic design can make your literature “stand out from the crowd.” Short print runs of 50-100 copies can be provided.
Case Studies and Manuals
Technical product case studies and manuals are often littered with unnecessary jargon. We can edit your existing technical material or develop new case studies and technical manuals using simple and precise language. Graphs, tables and images are used to reinforce the message and maintain reader interest.
Newsletters
A newsletter is an excellent way to deliver targeted information to your customers on a regular basis. We can organize direct mailing of paper-based publications or supply material for email distribution.
Advertorials
An advertorial or infomercial is an advertisement designed to resemble editorial content, while at the same time offering information to your prospective clients. We can produce “newsy” promotional features to provide maximum exposure to your business. Advertorials can be written for both print and on-line publications.
Web-sites
A web-site often provides the first impression of your business to a potential customer. It is important to get the content and layout right. Our web-site content development is integrally linked with the design process to achieve optimal design and content balance. If required, our web-site optimizers will work with our designers to create a user-friendly and informative site which will not only look good but will also rank high with search engines.
Bid Writing
Many small- to medium-sized companies and not-for-profit organizations could take an advantage of public sector business development grants if they just had the time and know-how to write the often complex funding applications. We have a proven track record of getting programmes and initiatives funded by submitting professional tenders using public sector terminology and templates.
Presentations
A good presentation makes a lasting impact. Slides should be easy to read and not over-crowded with texts and images. We have experience in producing professional presentations that deliver your message in a clearly and concisely.
Executive Development Programs
Our executive development programs combine commercial
acumen with academic rigor. The programs are based on
our work with UK business schools and are delivered
by our associates who teach post-graduate business students.
